The answers are as follows:
From Theo Mutesa *Go Gold Rewarding*
- A good article must be unique – different from the information on your website. The content is used to promote you as an authority in your field.
You will need to compose (or have someone compose) an initial individual or company bio that invokes authority. It should say who you are, what your experience is and why they should respect your opinion and recommendations.
think carefully, you may need to provide two articles, initially: One as an introduction which contains a bio or description and another article, containing content that can be used for your marketing needs.

From Penny Cannon
- Writing articles is a great way to get backlinks to your website. All the top article directories, such as Ezine Articles, have excellent PR rankings and a backlink from them is a great way to increase the PR of your own website or blog.
Your article needs to be original but you can submit the same one to multiple directories. It needs to be informative and must not be obviously promoting yourself or your opportunity. The idea is to show yourself as an expert on whatever you're writing about, so people will visit your website.
Most article directories have what they call a resource box, which is where you can write about yourself and your business. This is shown under each article and is usually the only place where you can include a link.
